At the time of writing the asensei rowing app does not support closed captions (subtitles), however as an alternative users can try Apple's live captions service which is in Beta, this generates captions automatically in real time and can be used with the asensei rowing app. Note that the quality of the transcription may vary!
For more details see below.
Set up and customize Apple Live Captions
Your iPhone or iPad must be running iOS 11 or higher.
In your iPhone or iPad:
1. Go to Settings > Accessibility > Live Captions, then turn on Live Captions (beta).
2. Tap Appearance to customize the text, size, and color of the captions.
3. By default, Live Captions are shown across all apps. To get live captions only for certain apps such as asensei Rowing, turn them on below In-App Live Captions.
Manage live captions
With Live Captions turned on, iPhone automatically transcribes the spoken audio in apps — or from dialogue around you. You can do any of the following:
1. Pause the transcription: Tap the Pause button.
2. Hide the transcription window: Tap the Collapse button. To restore the window, tap the Live Captions Collapsed button.
You can also transcribe dialogue around you:
3. Transcribe a conversation near you: Tap the Microphone button.
4. Make the transcription window bigger: Tap the Maximize button. To restore the window to the smaller size, tap the Minimize button.
