asensei + British Rowing are bringing your 2020 BRIC Online training plan to life. asensei have created a guided training program in our app to walk you through to the BRICs Online event on the 5th and 6th December 2020 and this is available to all asensei members, not just those based in the UK. If you are not an asensei member you can subscribe from our website.
The BRIC ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM contains all of the sessions in the BRIC Online training plan. Each time you open the app asensei will tell you what workout is Up Next and all you need to do is get on the erg and get rowing. No need to program the erg, no need to manually record your results, that's all taken care of by asensei.
This program is suitable for either the 2km or the 500m events. It consists of two asensei guided workouts per week and an optional 3rd workout where the athlete aims for an additional 30 mins of steady state cardio. For example you might wish to try the workout MILANO from the Eric Murray Above and Beyond program as an optional add-on. Other longer steady workouts in that same program include ZAGREB, AMSTERDAM or BLED.
To select this program as your main training plan open the asensei app, choose the PROGRAMS option from the main menu button in the top right of the Up Next screen (or on older app versions hit the Hey asensei [+] button then choose Workouts). In the list of programs that appears find BRIC ONLINE TRAINING PLAN and swipe left and tap Activate to set this as the default program.
IMPORTANT: When you return to your Up Next screen you'll need to refresh (hit Maybe Later then What's Next) to get the first workout in the program.
