As long as there's a PM5, you can use asensei.
However please note that on some PM5s with Hardware Version 600 or higher you will need to update to firmware version 169 or higher. In general we would always recommend running your PM5 on the most recent production version of the firmware.
To update the PM5 firmware you can use the Concept 2 Utility app on your PC or Mac - see here for more details. If you need permissions from your gym to update their software, or you think that it is out of date, they should be more than happy to help.
In addition we would alway suggest you check you are on the latest version of the asensei app by checking in the Apple appstore and upgrading if required.
The app works on a 4g/cellular connection, you need to this enable this in app. Hit (+) > My asensei > Workouts and enable 'Cellular Data'.
You can download workouts in advance on wifi, this might be better as it avoids eating into your data or workout time. If you don't kill the app post workout, asensei will keep running in the background, download the next workout and upload the workout summary.
