Every time you open the asensei app you will be recommended a new workout via the Up Next screen. asensei will lead you through the currently active program until you have completed it.
Sometimes you may wish to manually choose a different workout program to follow, for example if you wish to start (RE)COMMIT again before asensei recommends it then it is possible to manually choose the Active program.
To select the Active program:
- Choose PROGRAMS from the main menu button in the top right of the Up Next conversation screen (or on older app versions hit the Hey asensei [+] button in the bottom left of this screen and choose Workouts)
- You will see a list of all of the programs currently available to you. If you want to know more about that program tap the image tile and you'll find a list of all the workouts in that program; you can also manually run a workout by tapping it.
- To change program: Swipe left on the image tile for the program you wish to follow (make Active) and tap Activate.
- You will be given the choice to Start from Beginning of the program, or to Continue from where you got to previously in that program if you have previously performed some of those workouts.
Note that when you return to the Up Next conversation screen after changing the active program your recommendation will not automatically update immediately. You will need to either conclude the currently active conversation by hitting Maybe Later and then What's next? to get a refreshed recommendation or you can kill the app and restart. The recommendation will also refresh automatically when the app has been inactive for a day or so (as normal).
